New Program Information Sessions

Starting this fall, CCV will be offering new associate degree programs in Emergency Management and Hospitality & Tourism!

If you're interested in one of these new programs, plan to attend one of the information sessions at the CCV sites listed below to find out more. Information on the Assessment of Prior Learning (APL) program will also be available at these sessions.
  • CCV Burlington: Tuesday, March 31, 4:30 - 5:30 pm (119 Pearl Street, Room 100)
  • CCV Newport: Tuesday, April 7, 12 - 1 pm
  • CCV Upper Valley: Monday, May 11, 12 - 1 pm
  • CCV Rutland: Monday, May 11, 5 - 6 pm

Associate Degree Career Fair Cancelled

The organizers for the 4th Annual Associate Degree Career Fair have decided to cancel this year’s event due to the few numbers of participating employers. But please don’t lose hope! All CCV students and graduates are welcome to attend the following public career fairs and to access the many job search services that are available through the Vermont Department of Labor and CCV’s Career Development page.

In difficult economic times, it is important to remember that the employers who attend career fairs may or may not have current job openings. Still, making a good first impression counts. By building relationships with representatives from organizations or businesses where you want to get a job, you will increase your chances of securing an interview once a position opens up. Job Fair at Champlain College, March 30, 2009

CCV students are invited to attend the Champlain College Spring 2009 Job Fair on Monday, March 30th, from 1:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. The event will be held in the Argosy Gymnasium within the IDX Student Life Center (Click here for a map of Champlain College).

This FREE event is open to the public and 75+ employers representing a broad spectrum of for-profit and not-for-profit businesses, will be on hand to promote full-time, part-time and seasonal employment opportunities and internships.

Parking for the Fair is available in all campus lots on a space-available basis except in spots that are designated as reserved for employees, medical staff, vendors, deliveries, or visitors with accessibility needs.
