Information Session, Thursday 10/20, 5:00 – 7:00 at the Montpelier CCV Academic Center
Come in and learn about the upcoming CRC section designed for military service members and veterans. Receive an overview of the CRC program, WorkKeys, KeyTrain, and meet your instructors while learning about why this course will benefit YOU! While meeting the standards set forth in public sections of CRC, the Military Service Member and Veteran sections of CRC is a 6-week fast track course designed specifically with a focus on translation of prior military skills and experience to the civilian workplace. The course is team-taught by CCV faculty who are also veterans. Learn to successfully translate your military experience to the civilian job market. Further develop your skills with computers, math, and locating information. Learn about starting and growing your own business. Refine your resume and interviewing skills. Build a professional portfolio to use in getting the job you want. Whether you are trying to find employment, keep employment, or earn a promotion, the Governor’s Career Ready Course is a proven and effective program to help you reach your goals. Registration Required. No cost to participants.
