You're Invited: Smith College & Mt. Holyoke College Programs

You are invited to join admissions representatives from Smith College and Mt. Holyoke College for lunch on Friday, September 28th at noon in room 109 at CCV Winooski. The Ada Comstock Scholars Program at Smith College and the Frances Perkins Program at Mt. Holyoke College offer women over 24 an opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree. Students attend the same classes and fulfill the same requirements as do all other Smith and Mt. Holyoke students.

The Ada Comstock Scholars Program and Frances Perkins Program combine rigorous academic challenges with flexibility for women beyond the traditional college age by providing options for reduced course loads, special academic advising, career counseling and diverse housing options. Both schools participate in the five college consortium enabling students to take classes at Smith, Mt. Holyoke, Amherst, the University of Massachusetts and Hampshire College. Financial aid is available to each woman with demonstrated need.

Many CCV students have transferred to Smith and Mt. Holyoke successfully. Presently there are over 400 students in these programs. Some bring their families with them, some come alone, some with a partner or spouse. Most arrive having earned between 32 and 64 transferable college credits in liberal arts courses.

Visit www.smith.edu/ada/ or www.mtholyoke.edu./fp/ for more information.

Please contact me at CCV, 654-0507 or deangelm@ccv.edu with questions or to RSVP for the informational luncheon.
