Veterans Day Lecture

“What happened to my father?... One son’s search for his father’s WWII experience.”
CCV instructor and author Joe Covais will speak about the in depth interviews he conducted with the surviving members of the 319th Glider Field Artillery Battalion of the 82nd Airborne Division. His research has been compiled in a book entitled "Battery".
There will be table in the lobby with informational material for veterans.
There will be a slide show in the lobby running on a screen just above the display table. Pictures of student/veterans, as well as pictures of family members of students/staff, will be featured.
Throughout November and December, CCV will be collecting old cell phones for the “Cell Phones for Soldiers” project. There will also be an opportunity to donate socks, gloves. blankets, etc. for homeless veterans in conjunction with the Blue Star Mothers of Vermont. Containers in which to place your donations will be provided in the lobby.
