Resources for Parents

Resources for Parents:

News from Vermont Family Network

Vermont Family Network received funding from The Vermont Children's Trust Foundation to support families who may be experiencing extraordinary stress related to parenting children with special needs. These grants are intended to provide the caregiver with a needed respite break. Some regions of the state have a waitlist. Call Vermont Family Network for more information or contact Joanne at Joanne.Wechsler@vtfn.org or 1-800-800-4005.

Scholarship and Financial Support

Through the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations, the Stern Center is able to offer limited scholarship support for our evaluation and instruction services for both children and adults. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and the professional judgment of our staff that the services being requested are required and will provide lasting benefit. For more information or to  request a scholarship, call 878-0230 or go to www.sterncenter.org

Navicate for High School Students

Navicate connects students and schools to businesses to create real world learning opportunities. Every year thousands of students get internships, job experience, and college and career preparation via one of our programs, taking place in high schools all across Vermont.   For more information call 802.951.8845 or go to www.navicate.org.
